Data scientist as the name suggest is a Data Science Professional that does analysis of cleaned data(data that has been cleaned and formatted) and ascertains some useful & actionable insights in the process of formulating patterns.
With the integration of the broad spectrums of Computer Science(CSE) with mathematics and statistics and business Knowledge brings about the integration of fields of machine learning and traditional research that are supported by the software era that in turns leads to the false dichotomy of niche and vastness that is data science.
To be a data scientist is being able to gather data, clean and format data and the apply statistics, mathematics and algorithms to get keen and actionable insights which then has to be presented on a data visualization for a layman to be able to understand it.
